Sustainica was the first event of its kind in Düsseldorf and NRW that brought together companies, designers and artists to showcase innovative solutions for sustainable living (pictures, Youtube)
The fair and conference was held from 2 June to 5 June 2016 at the NRW-Forum Düsseldorf – an agora of contemporary culture, a social setting and a place for experimentation and dialogue, in the real world as well as the virtual realm – and gathered businesses and the creatives from around the world. The Forum provided the exhibition space and co-initiated art exhibition Planet B.
Sustainica was initiated by the Sustainable Lifestyle Initiative and fortunate to receive support of various regional as well as international project partners. For example the UN Environment Programme 10YFP (Partner of the 10YFP), ArtCOP21, Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production gGmbH and the Office of Economic Development Düsseldorf.
